What is a Coffee Farm?

A coffee farm is a commercial farm that produces the coffea plant to export the seed that ultimately end up as coffee beans. Most coffee farms are in what's considered the 'coffee belt' or the 'bean belt', which is an area of the world where most commercial coffee is grown. Individual coffee farms are typically owned by a family or group of families that perform most of the manual labor to grow the coffee trees, harvest, process, and export unroasted, green coffee beans to roasters around the world.
